You have been lied to about Free Will.
The standard story goes like this: To have agency, you must have a target. A goal. A 5-year plan. You must know where you're going in order to prove you chose to go there.
This is the Teleology Trap. And in the AI age, it's destroying people.
The "Hustle Narrative" tells you to constantly aim at moving targets. Learn a new skill. Pivot your career. Adapt to the next AI tool.
